Kristine K. Pasto Health and Wellness Coach
Kristine K. Pasto has held a life-long interest in the relationship people have with food and it's effects on their emotions, spirituality, physical being, and the environment. At the age of 10 Kristine began cooking and by the age 17 was cooking regularly for her family, experimenting with variation in recipes to
improve taste and nutritional content. After graduating with a B.A. in Political Science from Catawba College Kristine decided to further her interest in food with a A.A. degree in Culinary Arts, graduating with honors. After years in the food service industry, Kristine's interest turned toward the effect nutrition has on our physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Kristine has completed a 10 month program, through The National Institute of Whole Health, on Nutrition and it's ability to heal and keep healthy individuals who are diagnosed with chronic disease and illnesses. Many of today's modern illnesses have symptoms that can be addressed through integrative lifestyle changes and holistic health knowledge. Kristine's ideal patients are individuals who are ready receive the knowledge and support they need to heal and remain healthy through life balance and nutritional support. Kristine is also certified in Nutritional Coaching through the National Association of Fitness Certifications, and a certified level two Reiki practitioner. Kristine is currently working on certification as a personal trainer and expects to be certified as of July 20013.
Kristine recognizes the deep connection between the health of the body, mind, and spirit; currently practicing as a Holistic Health Guide in the offices of The Therapy Collaborative. The Therapy Collaborative offer integrative psychotherapy sessions because we believe that not all techniques work equally well for all people. Integrative psychotherapy sessions draw on evidence-based treatments and are holistic -they incorporate therapeutic modalities that emphasize awareness of the body, mind, spirit, and emotions. Integrative Psychotherapy sessions promote understanding and deep personal change.
